With the dog days of summer in our midst, we’re coming up with creative ways to stay cool. One of our favorite ways so far is sipping on poolside cocktails. Mint Juleps to be precise.
There are many ways to make a good cocktail even better. We’ve taken the classic recipe by switching out the powdered sugar for raw sugar. We’re a fan of the texture and the way it brings out the flavor in the mint. Here’s our recipe. Enjoy one while you read out latest newsletter! And of course stir it with our Silver Fern Ice Tea Spoon for added elegance!
6 cL Bourbon
8 mint leaves (from the garden, of course!)
1-2 teaspoons raw sugar
2 Tablespoons water
Crushed ice
Muddle the mint leaves and sugar. Add crushed ice to fill the glass. Pour in Bourbon and top with a little water, stir and enjoy!
